Experimentation requires a bold approach, and a willingness to follow partial images and ideas blindly, with no clear sight of their value.

Where is our imagination? Is it a real place? Is it within the universe and does it transcend all of material reality?

Unlike Craftsmanship which is about the embodiment of traditional methods and techniques, exploring the space of imagination is the Artists first step on their own. Where unique ideas and images can begin to be brought into our shared reality.

While the precise location of imaganiation is not understood, it seems to be a shared space that we can all inhabit. It offers its visitors both a dream land with mysterious & interesting spaces, creatures and landscapes. And also many dark & dangerous laneways, sinister creatures and gloomy regions.

I seek to blend the magic I encounter in my imagination with my observations of reality.
